Rouge

Applying rouge on your skin gives you a more positive appearance. We can be sleepy or tired and these reasons make us to look a bit fade. The main aim to use a rouge is, to make your face to seem as natural as possible. It makes your face pink which is very close to skin colour.

The most important point before starting to make-up is the harmony of the rouge and the foundation cream. If you want to use liquid foundation cream, you should prefer to apply liquid rouge.

And the other important point about applying the rouge is brush. A rouge brush is clearly different from make-up brushes. Rouge brushes are larger and bigger than other make-up brushes. We use them similarly and in similar jobs but we can divide the rouge brushes into three different categories. These categories are classic, bizote, smooth.

The classic rouge brushes have a rounded (oval) peak and many hairs on it which make and differ it from any other brushes. Some are long some are short handled. Long handled rouge brushes are especially used by hairdressers and most women carry short ones in their bags.

The bizote rouge brushes have an original and different shape. These brushes differ from others with their bent peaks and flat handles. If you want to apply the rouge densely, your choice must be these brushes.

The smooth rouge brushes are short and they have many hairs on it.

Before applying the rouge on your face, you should be sure whether the brush is clean or not. It is not easy to say an application for all face types but we can say that if you know about your facial properties it is easy. First of all, we can define the faces as oval, rounded, rectangle, square and triangle. The rounded faced women have large cheeks and they have to use the brush as drawing V on their face. They should move the brush as fast as they can.

The square faced women have large chin and cheekbones. If they spread the rouge -already applied on the cheekbones- to the temporal areas, these facial features may be hidden. They should finish the application of the rouge after some hits on forehead, chin and nose.

The oval faced women have a larger forehead than chin. These kinds of women should apply the rouge on their cheekbones and temporal areas. This application will definitely be more useful for them and make them more attractive.

The rectangle faced women should apply the rouge to the upper parts of their eyes and cheekbones. Applying the rouge on chin will be more useful for some women.

The triangle faced women have a larger forehead and a small chin. They have to apply the rouge from their cheekbones to their temporal parts. And they should have an application on cheeks which will make a perfect result.

Before the application of the rouge, you should decide on the colour of your clothes and your lipstick. This is important for applying the rouge on your face. The general hits with the brush should be done from the centre of the face to the external parts of the face. You should move the brush and make oval and smooth hits on your face. If you think that your rouge is darker than your skin colour, you can lighten it with some face powder.

The women, who have sharp lines on her face (such as triangle faced women), can use darker rouge than usual. This will help her to hide these facial features. To increase the effect of cheekbones on your appearance, try darker rouge. And apply it from lip to the temporal parts. For the last hit, you can spread lighter rouge on your cheekbones.
