Facial and Skin Care


During a day face or skin exposes to many different problems but we don’t mind because of our daily routines. Some important factors such as smoking, air conditions, stress, unhealthy food etc… seriously affect our skin. These factors change the rate of damp in the skin cells, make it to seem older or drier than usual so make us to look older than our real age. We all want is to have smooth and beautiful skin but how can we have skin like that? Which factors make this dream real?

Skin types of people can be divided into 4 different groups. These groups are normal, dry, greasy and mixed.

Normal skin seems lively and you can’t see the pores on it. On this type of skin, care and make-up is better and easier than the other types.

Dry skin has more pores than normal skin and the upper skin is thinner than the other types’ upper skins. This skin seems feckless because of the low level of oil excretion. And some flakes can be seen on the skin.

The appearance of greasy skin is bright and greasy. You can easily see the pores on the skin. People who have this type of skin suffer from acnes. In this type, the oil rate and the pores are more suitable for having acnes than the other types. If your skin is greasy, you should regularly look after and clean your face. To use antiseptic soaps is a good decision for this type of skin.

In mixed type the T part – includes forehead, nose and chin- is greasy. There are some black spots on your face. In mixed type, cheeks are especially dry and people have no problems about acnes on their cheeks.

Before starting a facial care, you should know what kind of skin you have. It is important to know how greasy or dry face you have for care such as make-up applications. We can explain facial care when you decide your skin type.

Facial care can be defined in three different groups. Cleaning, caring and making it wet. Try doing these applications at night if possible. Unfortunately, many women spend hours for make-up but they don’t hang out even for 15 minutes for a regular facial care.


There are some possible herbal and healthy applications for facial care which are also good for your body. These are, doing exercises, healthy food, consuming water much (over 2lts) and some massages.

For greasy and normal skin types, the first step is to prefer facial gel cleansers for daily care. And avoid soaps which decrease the rate of damp.

For dry skin type try using creams or cream cleansers because these products include 2-3% more oil than gel cleansers.

If you want to use a moisturising cream, your skin type is important. People who have dry skin should use gels including glycerine and avoid from the cleansers including alcohol. If you have greasy skin you should prefer to clean your face with moisturisers which are also a solution for brightness on face but you should avoid from face powder.

In mixed type the greasiest parts are forehead, nose and chin. So these people shouldn’t use moisturising for these parts, T part.

The second step is daily care. It means to repeat these applications regularly. And the third way is to moisturise your face and for the moisturising you can choose tonics, gels or cream cleansers which don’t include alcohol. Also, be sure that, these applications are very dangerous for your eyes so if it is possible try to close your eyes during the application and later wash.
